SUMMARY:Winter Sowing: A Fun and Easy Technique for Growing Plants for Your Garden
DESCRIPTION:Beat the winter doldrums and get your hands in the dirt. Sherry Watson\, a Master Gardener\, will present a brief PowerPoint explanation on the topic of winter sowing. Then\, with her guidance\, we will all prepare a container and plant seeds that will then go outdoors. A brief PowerPoint followed by a make it and take it\, where members and guests can sow seeds in containers. \nPresenter and CHG member\, Sherry\, has been a Master Gardener for 7 years. For the last two years she has co-chaired the Annual May Plant Sale. She has been using winter sowing for about the past 6 years and loves the results. \nThis is open to the Community.  Contact atkinsateb@aol.com as reservations is mandatory for this program so we can reserve a seat and supplies for you.  We kindly request a nominal $5 fee for guests to attend.
