Winter Sowing: A Fun and Easy Technique for Growing Plants for Your Garden

Beat the winter doldrums and get your hands in the dirt. Sherry Watson, a Master Gardener, will present a brief PowerPoint explanation on the topic of winter sowing. Then, with her guidance, we will all prepare a container and plant seeds that will then go outdoors. A brief PowerPoint followed by a make it and take it, where members and guests can sow seeds in containers.

Presenter and CHG member, Sherry, has been a Master Gardener for 7 years. For the last two years she has co-chaired the Annual May Plant Sale. She has been using winter sowing for about the past 6 years and loves the results.
