Conifer Way Gardens Tour (Members Only)

“Conifer Way Gardens” Bob and Ruth Davis will be providing a tour of their property. Their gardens started as a 16-acre corn field. As a tree and nature enthusiast, Bob started planting trees and conifers in 1977. Today they have woods and an ever-increasing wildlife habitat – leaving brush piles and snag trees providing food and homes. A personal collection of trees, plus flower beds, shrubs, pollinators, herbs, and some tropical plants around a pool area round out our garden tour.
Please wear proper footwear.
Presenter
Bob was previously on the Board of Directors and longtime member of the American Conifer Society; a Board of Directors member of Tanger Arboretum where he planted an ACS Dwarf Conifer Reference Garden; a Board of Directors member and Program Committee Chairman for the Lancaster County Garden Club for 20 years. He enjoys hiking & biking.
Ruth is a 25-year member and 10-year President of the Lancaster County Garden Club; a former PA Master Gardener; a former President of the Conestoga Herb Guild; and a longtime member of the American Conifer Society.
